Tuğba Yağmur



Tuğba was born in 1988 in Kırşehir, Turkey. At the age of 9, she took her first music lessons with Adil Yenidünya. In 1997, she started singing folk and art music songs in the school choir as a singer and soloist. At 11, she took piano lessons for a year. In 2000, she moved with her family to Vienna, Austria. During her high school years, she took flute lessons for 3 years. In 2009 she participated as a singer in the group Südbahnhof on their CD recordings and concerts. From 2009 to 2017 she sang in many theatre music recordings by Çağrı Beklen.


In addition to her musical activities, she studied international business administration at the University of Vienna and film training in further training institutes in Vienna. From 2014 to 2015, she took private lessons from the opera singer Yelda Kodallı. In 2017, she did a three-month vocal training seminar with Mr Peter Svennson. From 2016 to 2018, she performed weekly as a singer in a duo with Gökhan Cellat. In 2017, she started attending the Gospel Project Choir.


At the end of 2017, she founded the Beklen Band with Çağrı, in which she is still active as a singer.
